The pendulum in our cabinet is an animated yes/no game. Hold a small question in mind, press Release the pendulum, and read the result after the movement settles. You do not need a crystal, a camera or a particular way of holding your phone.
What determines the online swing?
The result is selected at random: 40% yes, 40% no and 20% unclear. The animation presents that result; it does not measure your hand movements, mood or question. An unclear result is part of the game, not a sign that you asked badly or are hiding something from yourself.
A question you can actually explore
Try: “Would I enjoy making time for a short creative project this weekend?” Before pressing the button, write one reason you might enjoy it and one obstacle. If the result is yes, consider a manageable version: sketching for twenty minutes rather than committing the whole weekend. If it is no, check whether you feel disappointed because the project matters to you. Either result leaves the decision with you.
- Choose one small, reversible possibility.
- Name what you already know and what is still uncertain.
- Release the pendulum once and read the answer text.
- Write what you think, including any reasons that disagree with the result.
- Choose a next step on its merits, or leave the question open.
A physical pendulum is a different activity
A pendant suspended from a thread can move when the hand holding it moves. Our screen version does not observe a physical pendulum or reproduce a measurement. If you enjoy using a pendant as a focus for journaling, keep that separate from a claim that its direction verifies facts.
When the answer feels wrong
You can set it aside. The first result is not more truthful than the next, and discomfort does not prove that either answer is correct. If you find yourself repeating a question to get reassurance, close the ritual and write down the information you would need to answer it without a swing.
